Damage Waiver
Protect Yourself Against Accidental Damage
The Let the World Know (LTWK) OPTIONAL rental damage waiver protects you when LTWK equipment, in your possession, is accidently damaged or destroyed. If you choose to participate in our optional damage waiver protection program you are protected from the costs of any damage to a unit while it is in your care, custody and control. You may choose not to participate and to be responsible for the replacement or repair cost of any broken or missing product. Keep in mind, this includes, but is not limited to, rent that would otherwise continue to accure during the repair period; late fees, transportation, storage, interest, collection costs and perhaps attorneys' fees.
The LTWK damage waiver is not insurance. You are responsible for any damage to the equipment and for their return in the same condition in which they were received, except for ordinary wear and tear. If you accept the Damage Waiver, however, we agree to waive our right to recover from you the amount of damage to the equipment.
Replacement costs will vary greatly depending on equipment.
The following list includes, but is not limited to, exclusions the LTWK damage waiver does not protect against;
1)Theft, loss, or missing units.
2)Damage resulting from the customer's breach of the rental contract; gross negligence, misuse and abuse of rented equipment or intentional damage.
3)Damage resulting from violations of applicable laws.
4)Damage resulting from or in connection with the use of alcohol or drugs by the customer or the customer's proxy
5)Loss or damage to equipment as a result of negelct to properly protect from weather.
6.)Linens bagged with food or liquid that causes stains, mildew, tears, burns holes or linens with candle wax.
7)Shortages disclosed on inventory.
8)Items not included in damage waiver coverage include tents, staging, floors, retail items, entertainment, photo booths.
9)Tables with staples or tacks.
10)Inflatable equipment damage caused by silly string, gum, paint, markers, pens, cuts, clices, punctures by sharp objects, animals, shoes, fireworks or cigarettes..
For items valued at greater than $1000, the customer will pay a $500 deductible for damage to any covered item.
Payment for the LTWK damage waiver is required prior to the rental period and is non-refundable.
