Customer Pickup & Return Policies
At time of pickup you will need the following:
- A valid Illinois driver's license/state ID and cash or credit for the rentals...
- A SECURITY DEPOSIT, unless waived or otherwise adjusted by your Let the World Know representative, (THIS IS SEPARATE FROM THE RENTAL COST and/or the RESERVATION FEE) equal to 2 times the rental amount, or $50, whichever is greater. For example...if your total rental charges are $40.00...your security deposit would be $80.00...However, if your total rental charges are $20...your security deposit would be $50.00...because it is our minimum security deposit. Security deposits for some equipment, i.e. audio/video equipment, may be higher, up to replacement costs of equipment in some cases. This will be refunded in full upon return of equipment ON TIME in working order.
Late charges, damages or non-returned equipment costs will be deducted from the security deposit. You can make security deposits with a credit/debit card. We will process the refund immediately upon timely return of equipment in clean, working order. Please note, refunds for payments made with a card, may take 1-14 business days to show up in your account...
Although pickup is available for many items, delivery is required for ALL inflatables, Throne Chairs, Chiavari Chairs, some of our more delicate, hard to handle items or items that need assembly.
We are open for pickups and returns during the following hours. (Please note, the following times are NOT necessarily the only times we will deliver/pickup items. These times are for pickup/returns.
- Monday - 8am - Noon
- Tuesdays - 8am - Noon
- Wednesdays - Closed (Our shop is closed for customer pickups and customer returns. We may still provide delivery/pickup (as in we are delivering or we are picking up from you) services as needed). Please make sure to check out our delivery requirements and policies. You may pickup on Tuesdays for events held on Wednesdays and return on Thursdays. You would only be charged for 1 day.
- Thursdays - 8am - Noon
- Fridays - 8am - Noon
- Saturdays - 8am - Noon
- Sundays - Closed (Our shop is closed for customer pickups and customer returns. We may still provide delivery/pickup (as in we are delivering or we are picking up from you) services as needed). Please make sure to check out our delivery requirements and policies. You may pickup on Saturdays for events held on Sundays and return on Mondays. You would only be charged for 1 day.
